How we compare tool prices

One barcode, one sellable item

Tools Prices uses the licensed UK retailer catalogue behind ASAP. We only combine offers with the same checksum-valid GTIN. Similar titles, compatible batteries and related models are not the same product.

Prices and delivery

All offers are in GBP and come from UK-market feeds. Offers are ranked by item price. Delivery is shown only when supplied; an unknown delivery charge is never treated as zero. Confirm taxes, postcode restrictions and the final total at checkout.

Freshness and coverage

Eligible offers must be reported in stock and observed within five days. The catalogue refreshes from the shared retailer index. A failed refresh retains the last successful catalogue, but current-price comparisons stop after 48 hours without a successful update. We do not cover every UK retailer or every tool.

Body-only tools and kits

Pack format, voltage and battery capacity filters are extracted from retailer titles and labelled accordingly. Check the complete model suffix, battery platform, battery count, charger and case before buying. Missing information stays unknown.

Corrections

If a retailer has supplied an incorrect barcode or price, please contact us with the product URL and the mismatch via 37X Ventures.
