Marshalltown Notched Serrated Plasterers Trowel 11" 4" 1/2"

About this tool

The Marshalltown Notched Serrated Plasterers Trowel is a professional-grade tool designed for specialist plastering applications requiring precise notched patterns. Built to the same exacting standards as Marshalltown's regular plasterers trowels, this notched variant features 3/16 inch V-shaped notches that create consistent ridges for improved material adhesion. The blade is cross-ground to maintain its shape throughout the tool's working life, whilst alloy mountings are fully heat treated to provide exceptional strength and durability. Each trowel is polished and machine finished to ensure a perfect end-to-post fit, with hardened steel rivets securely attaching the blade to the mounting. The DuraSoft® handle delivers comfortable grip during extended use, reducing hand fatigue on larger projects. This notched trowel is ideal for applying bonding compounds, scratch coats, and rendering materials where enhanced mechanical keying is required. The V-shaped notches enable consistent material distribution whilst creating the textured surface necessary for subsequent layers to bond effectively.
