Draper Telescopic Ratchet Action Bypass Loppers 800mm

About this tool

The Draper Telescopic Ratchet Action Bypass Loppers are professional-grade garden tools designed for efficient cutting of thick branches and woody growth. Featuring hardened and tempered steel blades with a non-stick coating, these loppers deliver smooth, corrosion-resistant performance in demanding outdoor conditions. The five-notch ratchet mechanism is the standout feature, allowing users to cut through branches up to 45mm in diameter with significantly less physical effort than standard loppers. This makes them ideal for extended pruning sessions, maintenance of mature shrubs and trees, and clearing overgrown hedgerows where repeated cuts would otherwise cause fatigue. The telescopic handles extend from 450mm to 800mm using a simple twist-and-lock action, providing enhanced reach for high branches and improved leverage for thicker cuts. The tubular steel construction ensures durability on professional sites, whilst soft grips maintain comfort during prolonged use. The bypass cutting action produces clean cuts that promote healthy plant regrowth, making these loppers suitable for arborists, landscapers, groundskeepers and keen gardeners tackling substantial pruning tasks.
