Elora Ratcheting Combination Spanner Metric 17mm

About this tool

The Elora 17mm Ratcheting Combination Spanner is one of the most frequently used sizes for automotive work, particularly suited to wheel nuts, hub assemblies, and suspension components. This size is essential for any professional mechanic or vehicle enthusiast, handling many of the most common fasteners encountered in car and light commercial vehicle maintenance. Equipped with Elora's sophisticated ELO-Drive ring end featuring a 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism, this 17mm spanner requires only 5 degrees of movement to advance fasteners. This remarkably small arc swing proves invaluable when working in the confined spaces around wheel arches, suspension assemblies, and engine compartments. The ELO-Drive profile grips the flats of the fastener rather than the corners, providing superior purchase whilst protecting fasteners from damage—particularly important when dealing with wheel nuts that must be reused. The open end is set at a practical 15-degree angle. Manufactured from forged chrome vanadium steel and hardened and tempered for exceptional strength, this spanner features a matt chrome plated finish that resists corrosion and maintains its professional appearance through demanding daily use.
