About this tool

The Sealey EVAP Smoke Diagnostic Leak Detector Tool and Oil Kit is a complete diagnostic solution designed for locating leaks in automotive EVAP systems and other sealed components. This comprehensive package combines Sealey's smoke leak detection technology with the necessary oil to begin testing immediately, making it an essential tool for professional technicians and automotive workshops. The kit includes the VS869 EVAP Leak Detector Smoke Diagnostic Tool, which produces visible smoke that can be introduced into sealed systems to identify even the smallest leaks that might otherwise remain undetected. The included 500ml bottle of leak detector oil (LDO50) provides the consumable required for smoke generation, ensuring you have everything needed for effective diagnostics straight from the box. Ideal for detecting leaks in EVAP emission systems, intake manifolds, vacuum lines, and other sealed automotive components, this diagnostic tool helps technicians quickly identify problem areas without time-consuming trial-and-error methods. The visible smoke makes leak location straightforward, reducing diagnostic time and improving workshop efficiency when troubleshooting difficult-to-find leaks in modern vehicles.
