Bosch EXPERT 5 Piece HEX-9 Hard Ceramic Tile and Multi Construction Drill Bit Set

About this tool

The Bosch EXPERT 5 Piece HEX-9 Hard Ceramic Tile and Multi Construction Drill Bit Set is a specialist drill bit set designed for tiling professionals and contractors who need to drill through hard ceramic tiles and the construction materials behind them. Drilling into hard ceramic presents two distinct challenges: starting the hole cleanly without slipping or scratching the tile surface, then continuing through the substrate behind it. This set addresses both with two purpose-built bit types — the HEX-9 Hard Ceramic and the HEX-9 Multi Construction — allowing you to work through the entire task without changing tools unnecessarily. The Hard Ceramic bits feature a multi-faceted, asymmetric carbide tip engineered for precise, slip-free entry into hard ceramic tiles. Bosch Carbide Technology integrates exceptionally hard metal into the tip, delivering the durability needed for demanding tiling work across multiple holes. The Multi Construction bits use an advanced centring geometry to drill accurately into whatever material lies behind the tile — whether that's brick, concrete, plasterboard, or timber. An optimised dust extraction channel works in tandem with the fluting to remove debris efficiently, keeping the drilling process clean and fast. All five bits feature a hex shank for secure fitment and maximum torque transmission in both three-jaw chucks and ¼" internal hex tool holders. Features and Benefits: • Multi-faceted, asymmetric carbide tip for precise, slip-free entry into hard ceramic tiles • Bosch Carbide Technology for exceptional tip durability across hundreds of holes • Advanced centring geometry on Multi Construction bits for accurate drilling in mixed substrates • Optimised dust extraction channel and fluting design for efficient chip rem
