Thor Copper / Hide Hammer 1000g

About this tool

The 1000g Thor Classic Copper & Hide Hammer delivers increased striking force whilst maintaining excellent control, making it ideal for heavier-duty applications. With a 38mm diameter head, this hammer is perfectly suited to demanding tasks in aerospace, rail maintenance and metalworking where more substantial impact is required without sacrificing surface protection. The dual-face design provides exceptional versatility for professional tradespeople. The 99.99% pure electrolytic copper face is cut from pure electrolytic extruded copper bars, offering harder strikes with copper's natural non-sparking properties - crucial for work environments where striking steel on steel contact poses a safety risk. The compressed, sustainable water buffalo hide face absorbs recoil and dampens sound, ideal for delicate work and noise-sensitive environments. The cast iron head ensures long-lasting durability for heavy-duty use, complemented by a durable anti-vibration wooden handle crafted from high-quality hardwood that minimises recoil for enhanced comfort.
